Start with the books you have. Let the room grow around them.

Add a book with an ISBN scan, title search, manual entry, or a Goodreads CSV import. Owned copies take a physical place in the room; wishlist records stay available for reading intent without pretending they are on a shelf.

Catalog first: Titles, authors, editions, reading status, ratings, and private notes.
Keep intent separate: Want-to-read records do not create a case, shelf, or Locate target.
Make it yours: Five room themes and day, golden-hour, or evening lighting.

Bookery’s shelf plan can remember named cases, measured capacity, and exact left-to-right positions. Room Map and Locate use that same saved address, so finding a book does not depend on a second presentation-only map.
